Meet New Employees
Brett Anderson, Sr IT Security Specialist, OIT Security
Emory's newest IT security guard!
The OIT Security team needed to refill some key staff positions and began by hiring Brett as a senior IT security specialist. Before Emory, Brett worked at KPMG in Atlanta as senior advisory associate of information protection and in financial services at Jack Henry and Associates.
Brett is a graduate of Kennesaw State University, where he studied IT Security Assurance. He is married with a 16-month-old baby girl.
A native of Peoria, IL, Brett followed his family to Georgia when he was in high school. He is an avid Alabama football fan, as well as a baseball fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Atlanta Braves.

Brett Avery, Coordinator, Enterprise Services
Brett always has a smile on his face!
Brett has worked in the IT field supporting network and voice services for over 14 years. He joins Enterprise Services from Results Technologies where he was an Avaya Engineer, supporting Contact Center Operations. His experience also includes desktop support, including support of one of the largest data networks in the US.
He also performed the same work at Atlanta Housing. He also has a Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 certification.
Hailing from Bridgeport, CT, Brett has 6 children (4 girls and 2 boys) and enjoys time with his family. He likes to bake, with cookies and banana bread being his favorites. Brett spends a lot of time watching his youngest daughter playing basketball and volleyball.

Vickie Mallett, Communication Specialist I, Call Center
Vickie brings a wide-range of corporate experience to the job!
Vickie joins the Call Center as their latest Communication Specialist I. Before coming to Emory she spent 28 years at IBM in Boulder, CO, and Atlanta, GA, where she moved 26 years ago. At IBM, she worked in the call center as well as working as a security specialist and trainer. Vickie did a little bit of everything at IBM!
She grew up in Colgate, OK after being born in Shreveport, LA. Vickie has four children and nine grandchildren!
Vickie loves movies (of the light comedy variety), does knitting (by request), crochet, is a lover of dogs and cats, enjoys white water rafting, and is an avid green thumb. She even repainted her own house.
